From veterinary medicine to product design
My journey to UX design was a little unconventional. I actually spent the first part of my career as a veterinarian! Seven years of veterinary practice taught me to diagnose from incomplete data, make decisions under time pressure and explain complex things to worried people. I still work this way.
For five years at Deviniti I worked on apps for the Atlassian and monday.com ecosystems. I ran a 30-interview study with IT service teams to find new product opportunities, spent a year as Product Owner, and led a four-person UX team as interim lead. When there was no budget for research, I found answers in desk research and product data.
Since 2025 I've been leading UX research as a volunteer for a digital health project at Fundacja K.I.D.S. Since 2026 I also design and build websites end-to-end, using AI as part of my process. I'm looking for a product team where research shapes what gets built.
